Tal Maimoni

Artist, therapist, educator.

I am a trained Drama Therapist (Tel Hai Academic College) with an M.A. in Creative Arts Therapies from Tel Aviv University, a B.Ed. in Special Education, as well as a teaching certificate from David Yellin Academic College.

I am a representative of the Drama Therapy Chapter at I.C.E.T. (the Israeli Association of Creative and Expressive Therapies). I supervise therapists and students from Haifa University and Tel Hai Academic College (among others), as well as in private practice.

For many years I have been working with children in Special Education and with troubled adolescents on their path toward emotional development, helping them discover their hidden strengths. I also work with children, youngsters, and adults in private practice, specializing in people with special needs and at risk populations.

In addition, I coordinate the “Jerusalem Forum for Drama Therapy", and am a Storyteller for children and adults.

I profoundly believe that creativity, play, art, and stories, are powerful keys to the human spirit and its empowerment.
